All the accommodations have a separate entrance and are provided with a fully equipped kitchen, color TV, comfortable beds, separate heating system, private outdoor areas (garden, terrace and balcony) furnished with tables, chairs and umbrellas for shade.
The property spreads out over 18 hectares (over 44 acres) across the green hills near Florence among vineyards and olive groves of extraordinary beauty. This is the wonderful scenery where the apartments overlook the Arno Valley. The Apartments have been made out of the main farm building and some smaller Family buildings: they have been carefully refurbished paying all the attention and care needed not to lose traces of their rural history and preserving the stone walls, terra cotta floors and the wooden beams of the ceilings.
They have been fitted with every kind of comfort you may need in order to ensure a truly beautiful vacation! The horseback riding grounds are a very short walk from the farm. On site is a large swimming pool for lazy afternoons. There is shaded parking, a barbeque, laundry and plans for a pizza oven.
Extra Virgin olive oil is produced on the Farm, located in the heart of the Reggello countryside at an altitude of about 400 meters. It is produced with olives of the Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino species and handpicked and pressed with-in 48 hours of harvesting to ensure the highest quality oil (e.g. the lowest possible oleic acid content and the maximum richness of natural vegetable preservatives, particularly vitamin E.).
Wines are also produced on the farm and certified IGT (indication of typical Geographical origin). The red wines are made with the Sangiovase and Canaiolo grapes that are grown in the vineyard and have a rich ruby color. The wines are excellent with the typical dishes of Tuscany and are about 12% alcohol.
The white wine is pale yellow in color and is produced from the first pressing of white Pinot and Chardonnay grapes. It has a floral bouquet and a dry smooth flavor.
Both the olive oil and wines are available for purchase at the Farm.
